These Swahili films are called “Bongo films” because they are produced with low budgets, in short programs, on camcorders and released en masse in DVD format.

She focused on promoting her drama on large posters, she organized a lot of events to advertise her drama, including having people from various walks of life watch the episodes together.

Leah was also very good at encouraging the visualization of her work and the approach made a difference for her, in this case it is self-promotion.

The Tanzanian film industry strives to improve production with high-tech cameras, better production facilities and the development of film skills.

The Tanzanian government believes that the film industry has the potential to create employment opportunities while simultaneously strengthening the brand image of Tanzania and the Swahili language.

The film industry can be used to advance the country economically.

Recently there was a bill that seeks to see local and foreign film companies share their raw footage with the government and allow the government to use the videos to promote the country.
