Since July 19, double-vaccinated Britons have been free to travel to Orange List countries, without having to quarantine themselves upon their return to England.
The move is part of the country’s return to normalcy, as many government-imposed Covid restrictions are lifted in the direction of public taking personal responsibility.
Most of the Amber List countries are open to non-quarantine travel for Britons who have received both vaccines, with the exception of France which will still require isolation upon return.
While the mandatory 10-day isolation period is no longer required for vaccinated travelers, there are still a number of requirements you should be aware of.

Upon their return to England, passengers over 10 years old must take a Covid test and produce a negative result, book and pay for a test to be taken on the second day after return, and complete a passenger locator form.
Travelers will need to declare that they are fully vaccinated and present proof of their vaccination status to the airline.
Many of the countries included in the Amber List have their own rules and restrictions for Brits traveling to the country, meaning there may not be a quarantine on return, there may still be requirements to the arrival.
The Amber List is made up of 140 countries, many of which continue to bar entry to anyone arriving or having stayed in the UK in the previous 14 days.
